BRIGHAM CITY PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Brigham City Council adopted a Resolution on May 4, 2023 indicating the intent of Brigham City to adjust a common boundary with Perry City. The area proposed to be adjusted is located in the general vicinity between 450 West Street and the east side of Highway 89. The Brigham City Council will hold a public hearing on July 6, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 20 North Main Street. The City Council will adopt an ordinance approving the adjustment of the common boundary unless a written protest to the adjustment is filed by: 1. An owner of private real property that: a. Is located within the area proposed for adjustment; b. Covers at least 25% of the total private land area within the area proposed for adjustment; and c. Is equal in value to at least 15% of the value of all private real property within the area proposed for adjustment; or 2. A title holder of state-owned real property. For those who would like to make a public comment but cannot attend the Brigham City public hearing due to Perry City holding their public hearing on the same date, public comments can be submitted to the City Recorder at cboss@bcutah.org. Comments will be read into the record during the public hearing period. The plat relating to the proposed boundary adjustment is available at the office of the City Recorder, 20 North Main, or by email at cboss@bcutah.org.
