Description/Agenda: Thank you for those who signed up to run for city council (see to the left for the names of the candidates). This year, Salem City will NOT be holding a primary election (we needed to have 7 candidates run for election to have a primary). PLEASE NOTE: Governor Cox has issued a statement stating that the general elections in Utah this year will be held on Tuesday November 21, 2023. Salem City Municipal Elections 2023. Salem City had 6 candidates sign up for the 3 council positions available (this means Salem City will not be having a primary election this year). The 6 candidates are as follows: Tim De Graw Paul Y Taylor Alan Dale Hansen Cliff Leyva Cynthia Deveraux Rees Howard Chuntz Also, the General Election has been changed by Governor Cox for Utah this year. It will be held on November 21, 2023.
