4. June Activities
a. June 1 and 2 booth at pony Express days
i. Booth set up 2 PM on Thursday the 1st
ii. Time on Thursday the 1st booth opens at 4 Pm to 8 Pm
iii. Time on Friday the 2nd booth opens at 12 Noon till 8 PM
b. We are selling crafts and limited baked goods
c. June 6 council meeting
d. June 3 Grand Parade Probably meet at Senior Center at 8:30 AM to ride bus and throw out candy
e. June 8 Lunch bunch Las Hermanos at 11:30
f. June 9 rodeo for seniors we will take bus from senior Center to Rodeo grounds probably meet at about 5:30 to catch bus.
g. Lunches served June 1,7,14,15,21/22,28,29 at 12 Noon
h. As usual painting class available on Wednesday with instructor, also puzzle and Quilt. Thursday's painting without instructor and quilts and puzzles.
i. June 19 bingo pot luck 5 Pm No Birthday Cake.
j. June 22nd 10:30 Dr Barlow a dermatologist will come do skin checcks
k. June 26 Christmas in June barbeque dinner. Hopefully R & R
i. Chicken, pulled pork, Brisket, Potato salad, Coleslaw, rolls, we could change up sides if you would like
ii. Cake for Dessert ordered from Macys
5. July Activities
a. Lunches on 5,12,13,19,20,26,27
b. Lunch bunch on the 6th restaurant to be named
c. Painting with teacher every Wednesday at 10 am
d. Puzzles, quilt to be tied,and painting with no instructor every Wednesday and Thursday from 10 am till 12 Noon
e. July 17 Bingo 5PM Pot Luck
f. No activity July 24th
g. July 31 Ice Cream Social, 5 PM with a presentation about the History of Cedar Valley.
6. Report on Assignments
a. Works are under way for a horseshoe pit to be built by our building.
b. Request has been put in to install a hand rail on our from sidewalk this is needed to help many of our seniors access our building, bids are being requested.
c. Report on Pony Express days Booth, thank everyone who helped.
d. We will purchase 1 More Round table and one more table for Art Room
e. Any Other suggestions that we need, Possible another tote or two.
