CITY OF WEST JORDAN
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held before the West Jordan City Council on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 6:00 pm (or as soon thereafter as possible) in the Thomas M. Rees Justice Center, Community Room, 1st Floor, 8040 S. Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84088. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments regarding the following items:
- Ordinance No. 23-21 adopting low impact development design and construction standards for the City of West Jordan
- Resolution No. 23-038 a $1,297 fee waiver, inclusive of a $500 deposit, for Jordan School District's Fall Family Fair to close a portion of ring road around Veterans Memorial Park and reserve a portion of the park adjacent to the event center on September 9, 2023
- Receive public input on the Draft 2023 General Plan, which is intended to become the comprehensive and long-range plan for the City of West Jordan
- Ordinance No. 23-20 adopting the City of West Jordan 2023 Storm Drain Master Plan Update
- Receive public input regarding the proposed transfer of Enterprise Funds to the City's General Fund per Utah Code 10-6-135. The City is proposing to transfer funds from these utility funds into the City's General Fund to act as the collection of franchise tax as are paid by non-city utilities.

Copies of the Mayor's proposed budget for fiscal year 2024 have been available on the Cit's website since May 9, 2023. A copy of the adopted Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2024 will be available on the City's website after June 28, 2023 at https://www.westjordan.utah.gov/financedepartment/city-budget/
