Notice of Proposal for an Agricultural Protection Zone:
Notice is hereby given that Hurricane City has received a proposal to create an agricultural protection area on the following parcels:
H-3-2-3-344 containing 5.01 acres.
H-3-2-4-21011 containing 4.86 acres.
H-3-2-10-4471 containing 22.71 acres.
H-3-2-3-3315 containing 8.57 acres.
The proposal is available for inspection in the office of the Hurricane City Planning Department at 147 N. 870 West, Hurricane, Utah during regular business hours.
Any person who may be affected by the establishment of the proposed agricultural protection area may, within 15 days of the date of this notice, file any written objections to the proposal or a written request to modify the proposal to exclude land from or add land to the proposed protection area.
This proposal has been submitted to the County Advisory Committee and the City Planning Commission for review and recommendations.
The City Council will hold a public hearing June 15, 2023 during their public meeting commencing at 6 p.m. at 147 N. 870 West, Hurricane, Utah to discuss and hear public comment on the proposal, the recommendations of the advisory committee and the planning commission, and any requests for modification of the proposal and any objections to the proposal.
The Hurricane City Council will also hold a Public Hearing comments on the following:
1. 2023-2024 Fiscal Year Budget
2. Proposed amendments to the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year Budget
3. Acceptance of a new impact fee facilities plans and enactment of new impact fees for secondary water.
