NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING SOUTH OGDEN CITY PLANNING COMMISSION Notice is hereby given that the South Ogden City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to receive and consider comments on proposed amendments to the South Ogden City landscaping ordinance. The amendments would require all property owners in South Ogden City to adhere to the landscaping standards of Title 10, Chapter 23, which up until now, have only been applicable to public projects, private development projects, developer-installed landscaping in multi-family residential projects, and developer-installed landscaping in single-family projects. The amendment would also require that when installing new landscaping, the percentage of turf allowed must be under 35% of the total landscaping. The public hearing will be held at 6:15 pm, or as soon as the agenda permits, during the South Ogden City Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, June 8, 2023. The meeting will be located at City Hall, 3950 Adams Ave., South Ogden, Utah, 84403, in the city council chambers and is open to the public. Anyone interested may attend and offer comment. Written comments may be submitted at the meeting or previous to the meeting via email to lkapetanov@southogdencity.gov. Emailed comments will only be accepted until 5 pm, Thursday, June 8. The public hearing will also be streamed live at www.facebook.com/southogdencity. Comments for the public hearing can be submitted through the comment feature on Facebook during the appropriate time during the meeting.
