Notice is hereby given that the Syracuse City Disaster Preparedness Committee will participate in a meeting on
Thursday May 25, 2023, at 6:30 pm in the large conference room of the Municipal Building, 1979 W. 1900 S.,
Syracuse City, Davis County, Utah. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss/review the following items:

Action Item Update:
1. Emergency Preparedness Fair on 'odd' years - planning for September 2025. More hands on fair.
2. Mr. Merkling proposed that for the 2024 Emergency Preparedness exercise that we pattern off of the Buffalo Ridge
RDAP exercise. Steven LaForte, from Buffalo Ridge will write up the exercise and Mr. Merkling will get a copy for us
to review in the next DPC meeting.
3. Mr. Duane Cheney will be resigning from his position on the DPC as soon as his replacement is found and trained (he
expects to remain for three months or so).
