Agenda Museum of the San Rafael Tuesday, May 22, 2023, 6 PM Museum of the San Rafael, Castle Dale, UT Conducting and Welcome: Chairman Randy Jensen. 1. Approval of Minutes: Tuesday, April. 24, 2023. 2. Discuss/Approve/Deny: Tiffani suggests we move our time frame up to 1959 for the historic item collection. 3. Discuss/Approve/Deny: Add the history of the power plants and I-70 to our story in the Historic Pioneer Hall back by the mining section after it is cleaned out. 4. Discuss/Approve/Deny: Sue Hardy Barcley would like to donate her father's WWII Dress uniform, history, and photos to our museum. James B. Hardy lived in Castle Dale. The museum would like to purchase a mannequin for the uniform if approved. 5. Discuss/Approve/Deny: Work on Strategic planning. a. Maintenance: Kyle put in a new light fixture in the men's bathroom. Yard work has begun. b. Visitation: April 416 c. Events: Em Co Paranormal Con: Port-a-potties, theme: 'Sharp Teeth and Big Feet.' Castle Dale donated $250.00. d. Marketing: The museum will begin sending out information about Paleo Camp which will be held June 26th and 27th. 4-H will be helping us with the cost. e. General: School tours and plaque for Dixon Peacock. f. Collections: Ongoing. g. Any other business that can properly come before the board. We will be getting a new director. 6. Adjourn - Thank you for coming! Tour of the museum.
