NOTICE OF HIGHLAND PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING The Highland Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on June 27, 2023 at 7:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Highland City Council Chambers, 5400 West Civic Center Dr, Highland, UT. The Planning Commission will receive public comments concerning the following: - Highland City Staff is proposing an adoption of regulations and restrictions regarding the subdivision, development, and use of land subject to geologic hazards such as steep slopes, wetlands, unstable soils, and other hazards. - Highland City Staff is proposing an amendment to the General Plan to adopt an Active Transportation Plan. - Highland City Staff is proposing an amendment to Section 2-201 Establishment of Planning Commission in the Development Code to require the majority of Commissioners be in favor for a motion pass, rather than the majority of those present. - Highland City Staff is proposing an amendment to Article 5 Planned Development (PD) District in the Development Code to prohibit zero-lot line setbacks on detached residential units.
