In accordance with UCA 10-3-301, public notice is hereby given that Wellsville City will hold a Municipal Election to elect three (3) Council Members. Council Members serve four-year terms and are elected at large. Election dates will be: Primary Election: Tuesday, August 15, 2023 (if necessary) General Election: Tuesday, November 7, 2023 The Incumbents are: Council Member: Bob Lindley Council Member: Denise N. Lindsay Council Member: Chad K. Poulsen Those interested in filing for one of these offices must: Be a U.S. Citizen at the time of filing, Be a registered voter of Wellsville City, Be at least 18 years old, Be a resident of Wellsville City for at least 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the General Election (November 7, 2023), and Not be convicted felon. Candidate Filing Period is from 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023 and ends at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, excluding Saturday and Sunday. Declaration of Candidacy Forms or Nomination Petitions must be filed in person at the Wellsville City Recorder's Office located at 75 East Main, Wellsville, UT. There is no filing fee. Candidates are subject to financial disclosure requirements (UCA 10-3-208) Election information can be found at www.wellsvillecity.com
