Minutes of the Special Services Lighting District Meeting - May 10, 2022 and Annual Review of the RDA Bylaws
Tom Macdonald moved to approve all consent items. LaNae Millett seconded the motion.
Those voting aye: David Spencer, LaNae Millett, Terry Peterson, Jeff Lambson, Tom
Macdonald and Debby Lauret. The vote was unanimous, motion passed.
SCHEDULED ITEMS
RESOLUTION - Approve and Adopt the Budget for Fiscal Year 2022-2023
The Board of Directors received the SSLD Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 The purpose of this hearing is to receive input from the citizens, make any changes, approve, and adopt the budget for Fiscal Year 2022-2023.
Mr. Nelson explained the Special Lighting District provides all the street lighting throughout the city and pays for the power and maintenance for the poles. Revenue is primarily received from citizen and business utility bills. All neighborhoods will be converted to the new street lighting fee of $2.53.
