Description/Agenda
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has prepared a draft environmental study as part of the US-89 reconstruction project. The US-89 project area is approximately 8 miles long, from the US-89 and SR-126 intersection in Willard, Utah, to 3600 South in Perry, Utah. The proposed improvements include reconstructing the roadway pavement and subgrade materials, improving drainage, and providing a consistent shoulder width.
UDOT invites the public to a public hearing (open house style) on Thursday, May 25th from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at Willard Elementary located at 40 South Street, Willard, Utah 84340. At the public hearing, UDOT will provide a copy of the draft environmental study, an overview of the proposed design, explain how to comment, and answer any questions. The study team will take formal comments from May 25, 2023, through June 5, 2023. All comments received during this period will be considered during the project's final design and documented in the final environmental study.
