Woodruff Town Board Meeting
April 25, 2023
Minutes from the Woodruff Town Board meeting held April 25, 2023 at the Town Hall at 7:00 p.m.
Those present:
Mayor Scott Sabey
Council Members: Seiko Webb, Monika Schulthess, Raymond Frandsen
Clerk: Allie Deru
2 CAPSA representatives
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Sabey. CAPSA representative Alayna Ohling spoke to us about sexual assault awareness and the many resources that they offer to those who may need their help. Their theme is 'Hope Begins'. As a community, it is important that we make this resource known and have a resource to give out to anyone who may need their help.
Monika Schulthess made the motion to approve the April bills. Raymond Frandsen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Seiko Webb made the motion to approve March minutes. Monika Schulthess seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
We need to find someone to be the flag carrier in the parade. Louie Stuart is going to the rodeo chairman. A rodeo committee meeting will need to be scheduled soon. Allie will contact Louie this week about ordering buckles and the donation letters will also be sent out this next week.
There was discussion whether we let the cars from Jared's car show park on the lawn. That will be determined once it is closer and we can see what condition the grass is in.
The board worked on the application for the road grant. Brian Carver is going to help us with the application. It needs to be in by May 1st. We also have a contact for Brittany Alfau with BRAG who will help us fill out what we need as well.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
