NOTICE OF VACANCIES ON THE NORTH UTAH COUNTY WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Notice is hereby provided this 3rd day of May 2023, pursuant to Utah Code Sections 17B- 1-304 and 17B-2a-1005, that seven (7) vacancies currently exist on the North Utah County Water Conservancy District Board of Trustees (the 'Board'), to fill seven (7) expired terms. Positions on the Board are for individuals who are representatives of a specific geographical area or interest.
1) The geographic area that currently requires such a representative is:
The Lehi geographic unit.
To qualify for consideration for the above-mentioned geographic unit vacancy, an individual must be a resident of the Lehi geographic area.
2) The geographic area that currently requires such a representative is:
The Alpine geographic unit.
To qualify for consideration for the above-mentioned geographic unit vacancy, an individual must be a resident of the Alpine geographic area.
3) The interest that currently requires such a representative is:
Sheep Interests.
To qualify for consideration for the above-mentioned interest vacancy, an individual must be a resident of the North Utah County Water Conservancy District and be involved in sheep ranching.
4) The interest that currently requires such a representative is:
Cattle Interests.
To qualify for consideration for the above-mentioned interest vacancy, an individual must be a resident of the North Utah County Water Conservancy District and be involved in cattle ranching.
5) The interest that currently requires such a representative is:
Soil Conservation District.
To qualify for consideration for the above-mentioned interest vacancy, an individual must be a resident of the North Utah County Water Conservancy District and be involved with soil conservation districts.
6) The interest that currently requires such a representative is:
Utah County Commission.
To qualify for consideration for the above-mentioned interest vacancy, an individual must be a Utah County Commissioner.
7) The interest that currently requires such a representative is:
Director at Large.
To qualify for consideration for the above-mentioned interest vacancy, an individual must be a resident of the North Utah County Water Conservancy District.
Those individuals interested in being considered for a vacant Board position outlined above should send a letter expressing their interest, together with a brief description of their qualifications and eligibility for the Board position to: boards@utahcounty.gov or mailed to Board of County Commissioners, Utah County, 100 East Center Street, Suite 318 HCH, Provo, Utah 84606. All letters of interest in the vacant Board positions must be received by the Board of County Commissioners, Utah County, Utah, on or before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023. The Board of County Commissioners, Utah County, Utah, will review and evaluate all individuals that qualify for consideration pursuant to the guidelines listed above and will appoint individuals to fill the vacancies by resolution.
