NORTH DAVIS SEWER DISTRICT
2023 NOTICE OF ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that the term is expiring for an elective position on the Board of Trustees for North Davis Sewer District in the unincorporated area of Davis County. The General Election date is Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
Board members serve four-year terms beginning at noon on January 1 after the trustee's election. The Board of Trustees meet once a month, every second Thursday of each month.
Pursuant to Utah Code 20A-9-203, qualifications for a candidate are as follows:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen at time of filing.
- Must be a resident in the unincorporated area of Davis County within the District's boundaries for 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of the election.
- Must maintain a principal place of residence within the unincorporated area of Davis County within the District's boundaries during the Trustee's term of office.
- Must be a registered voter.
- Must not be a convicted felon, unless the right to hold elective office has been restored.
- Must not be employed by the District as a full-time or part-time employee.
Each qualified person seeking to become a candidate for the elective position on the Board of Trustees for North Davis Sewer District shall file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the District Board Clerk at the Administration Building located at 4252 West 2200 South, Syracuse, UT, during office hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from June 1 through June 7, 2023 (excluding Saturday and Sunday).
