This meeting is a field trip to tour the Pioneer Crossing Park in West Valley City. Active work to construct and restore this nature park is ongoing, and the park is not yet open to the public. This field trip is for the Commission's Governing Board and Technical Advisory Committee to see work in progress, which accomplishes multiple goals and strategies of the Blueprint Jordan River. The anticipated opening of the park to the public will occur later this spring or early summer.
This field trip is open to the public. However, space is limited, and registration is required. To participate, please register in advance at https://JRCommissionSpringFieldTrip.eventbrite.com, on a first come, first served basis. If available spaces for this tour fill up, please watch for an announcement for the public park opening.
The tour will be conducted by project team members from Salt Lake County Department of Parks & Recreation.
There is no meeting agenda, and no official Commission business will be conducted.
