9.2 PUBLIC HEARING/RESOLUTION - The City will receive public comment on the
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Projected Use of Funds for Fiscal
Year 2023-2024
Presenter: Ken Ransom, CDBG Advisory Commission Chairperson, and Kena Mathews, Community Services Manager
The Community Services Manager recommends that the City Council hold a public
hearing to receive public comment and approve a resolution for the projected uses of the
funds for the 2023-2024 Community Development Block Grant and review the
recommendations of the CDBG Advisory Commission.
9.3 PUBLIC HEARING: Enterprise Fund Transfers for Fiscal Year 2023-2024
Presenter: Brandon C. Nelson, CPA, Finance Director
The Acting City Manager recommends the City Council, hold a public hearing to
consider input from the residents regarding proposed transfers from enterprise funds to
the General Fund in the FY 2023-2024 budget.
9.4 PUBLIC HEARING: Approving & Adopting the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget
Presenter: Brandon C. Nelson, CPA, Finance Director
The Acting City Manager recommends the City Council, by ordinance, approve and
adopt the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget, adopt the compensation programs, adopt the
fees and charges schedule, set the property tax, franchise tax, municipal energy sales
and use tax, telecommunications license tax, transient room tax, and E-911 fee rates.
