NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL OFFICES TO BE VOTED ON IN THE OAKLEY CITY MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION
NOVEMBER 7, 2023
The 2023 Oakley City Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, to elect:
Three (3) City Councilmembers At Large - FOUR (4) year terms each
PERSONS interested in becoming a candidate for office must file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the City Recorder, 960 West Center Street, Oakley, UT.
The City Recorder's office will be open:
Thursday, June 1, 2023, through Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 PM excluding weekends. The doors will close promptly at 5:00 PM on June 7. Please do not wait until the last minute to file.
QUALIFICIATIONS TO RUN FOR OFFICE ARE:
1. Be a United States citizen at the time of filing.
2. Be a registered voter of the municipality.
3. Be a resident of Oakley City for twelve (12) consecutive months prior to the election.
4. Not be a convicted felon unless the right to hold elective office has been restored.
The primary election, if needed, will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2023. The general election will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
