NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION
Public notice is hereby given to inform residents of Alpine City will hold a General Municipal Election on Tuesday November 7, 2023, for the following offices:
Three (3) City Council seats 4-year term
If the primary election is needed, it will be held on August 15, 2023.
The constitutional and statutory qualification requirements for a municipal office are:
1. The person is a registered voter in the municipality.
2. The person will be at least 18 years old at the time of the next election.
3. The person is a legal resident of the municipality for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
4. The person has not been convicted of a felon.
Interested parties may declare their candidacy for an office in person between June 1 and June 7, at City Hall with the City Recorder located at 20 N Main Street, between the business hours 8:00am and 5:00pm.
