- NOTICE OF ELECTION - TOWN OF LOA Notice is hereby given that the Town of Loa will hold a Municipal Election this fall to elect persons to the following offices: (1) Council Member Position - Two Year Term (2) Council Member Positions - Four Year Terms Given a sufficient number of candidates, a Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. The Municipal General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Qualifications to be a candidate are 1) Be a US citizen at the time of filing. 2) Be a registered voter of the municipality. 3) Be a resident of the municipality for a period of 365 consecutive days immediately preceding the date of the election and 4) To not be a convicted felon, unless the right to hold an elective office has been restored. All qualified persons are to file a declaration of candidacy, in person with the Loa Town Clerk, between June 1 and June 7, 2023. Candidate filing forms are available at the Loa Town Office, 80 West Center, Loa Utah between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm. All candidates for election are subject to Campaign Finance Disclosure Regulations. Michelle Brian, Loa Town Clerk
