DRAPER CITY NOTICE OF ELECTION:
The 2023 Draper City Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, to elect three (3) City Councilmembers. Each position is at-large for a 4-year term.
Persons interested in becoming a candidate for office must file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the City Recorder, 1020 East Pioneer Road, Draper, UT.
The City Recorder's office will be open:
Thursday, June 1, 2023 through Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding weekends. The doors will close promptly at 5:00 PM on June 7. Please do not wait until the last minute to file.
Qualifications to run for office are:
1. Be a United States citizen at the time of filling.
2. Be a registered voter of the municipality.
3. Be a resident of Draper for twelve (12) consecutive months prior to the election.
4. Not be a convicted felon unless the right to hold elective office has been restored.
The primary election, if needed, will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2023. The general election will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
