WALES TOWN EST. 1854 150 N State HC 13 Box 4274 Wales, Utah 84667 (435)436-9345 Hours: Mon-10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tue-8:00 am to Noon e-mail: wales@cut.net, website: walesutah.org 2023 ELECTION NOTICE MUNICIPAL OFFICES to be voted on in the Wales Town Municipal General Election, to be held on 7 November 2023, are as follows: Two (2) Town Council Member Seats, 4-year term Candidate filing period begins 1 June 2023 and closes 7 June 2023 at 5:00 PM. Declaration of Candidacy Forms, or Nomination Petitions, must be filed in person with the Wales Town Clerk during business hours at the town hall, located at 150 N State in Wales. Business hours: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Mon 8:00 am - noon, Tue During the filing period the town clerk may be contacted during non-office hours at (435) 851-4380. Please come in during office hours if you wish to pick up the required forms. Call the office at (435) 436-9345 or Kevin at (435) 851-4380, if you have any questions. Candidates must meet qualifications as listed in the Utah State Code, Sections 10-3-301 and 20A-9-203: U.S citizen Registered voter of Wales Town Resident of the town for the 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of election Maintain a principal place of residence within the municipality that the elected officer represents during the officer's term of office Must not be convicted of a felony
