SYRACUSE CITY Syracuse City Disaster Preparedness Committee April 27, 2023 - 6:30 p.m. Municipal Building, 1979 W. 1900 S. Notice is hereby given that the Syracuse City Disaster Preparedness Committee will participate in a meeting on Thursday April 27, 2023, at 6:30 pm in the large conference room of the Municipal Building, 1979 W. 1900 S., Syracuse City, Davis County, Utah. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss/review the following items: Welcome: Patrick Carroll Call to Order: Patrick Carroll Prayer: TBA Pledge of Allegiance Review Meeting Minutes: Dennis Opp Welcome Guests/Visitors: Syracuse Connection Magazine articles: 1. Article for July issue to be written by Micah Redmond to be reviewed in April Meeting - Topic: Fire Safety 2. Article for Aug issue written by Jordan Savage & Dennis Opp to be reviewed in May Meeting - Topic: Comms Down 3. Article for September issue written by Duane to be reviewed in June Meeting - Topic: Canned Goods Expiration Date Committee Business: 1. West District replacement approval - Dennis Opp 2. New rep for Fremont District? - Brent Burgess (temp) 3. CERT Class Update - Starting May 3rd. Registration deadline 4/26 4. RDAP Class Update - 3rd Sat of each month at 10am 5. EOC update - 8/2023? 6. Teaching CERT class at Syracuse High - Jordan Savage report 7. Micah Redmond playbook update Action Item Update: 1. 2023 Disaster Preparedness Exercise review discussion. Exercise will be the week of April 15th at 6:00pm - April 22nd at 6:00pm and focus on RDAP training. # of views 2. North Davis E. Prep Fair on 3rd Saturday of September on the odd years and involving nearby cities. This would be a big commitment, but worthwhile. More discussion needed. 3.
