NOTICE OF PARAGONAH TOWN'S 2023 MUNICIPAL ELECTION ELIGIBILITY AND RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR ELECTION OFFICE (UCA 10-3-301) OPEN SEATS: One (1) Town Council position, 2 year term from January 2024 to January 2026 Two (2) Town Council positions, 4 year term from January 2024 to January 2028 2023 MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTION August 15, 2023 2023 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION November 7, 2023 This election will be VOTE BY MAIL Candidate Filing Period: Begins Thursday, June 1, 2023, through Wednesday, June 7, 2023, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding Saturday and Sunday) Declaration of Candidacy Forms or Nomination Petitions must be filed with the Town Clerk at the Paragonah Town Hall, 44 North 100 West, Paragonah, Utah. You must fill out your Declaration of Candidacy in front of the Town Clerk. The qualification requirements for municipal office are: A U.S. citizen At least 18 years old A registered voter In Paragonah Town A resident of Paragonah Town for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the election The person has not been convicted of a felony /s/ Jayne A.
