Notice of Municipal Election
The following positions are to be voted upon in the Spring City 2023 Municipal Election.
Council Seat At-Large, four-year term.

Those Considering declaring candidacy for elected office must be;
A registered voter;
A resident of the municipality (Spring City) for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of election;
Maintain a principal place of residence with in the district that the elected officer represents, during the officer's term of office;
Not be convicted of a felony, convicted of treason or a crime against the elective franchise, unless their right to hold elective office has been restored;
Cannot have been declared mentally incompetent.
Please view the Candidate Guide to Elections for pertinent information. Candidate filing begins June 1, 2023, and ends June 7, 2023.
A Declaration of Candidacy must be filed in person at the Spring City Office located at 45 South 100 East between the hours of 9:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday. Please note that the City office hours are 9:00 to 4:00 Monday through Thursday. If you are unable to come during office hours please call Ruth Ann McCain, the elections officer, at 281-841-3135 to make arrangements.
Primary Election: August 15, 2023.
General Election: November 7, 2023
Voter Registration
The requirements to become a registered voter are:
Citizen of the United States:
Resident of Utah for at least 30 days immediately before the election;
At least 18 years old on the day of election;
At least 17 years old for some Primary Elections if you will be 18 prior to the associated General Election.
Reside in the voting district or precinct in which the person applies to register to vote.
