- Public Notice 2023 Municipal Election Public Notice is hereby given that Washington City will be holding a Municipal Election this year to fill the offices of: Three (3) City Council Members - 4 year term each Each person seeking to become a candidate can file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the City Recorder from June 1, 2023 and June 7, 2023 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Interested candidates must meeting the following qualifications: Registered voter with Washington City Resident of Washington City or a territory which was annexed into Washington City for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election Cannot be declared mentally incompetent, convicted of a felony, convicted of treason, or a crime relating to elections until the right to hold elective office is restored Pay required filing fees You can check your voter registration at https://vote.utah.gov Tara Pentz, MMC City Recorder Election Dates: Primary Election: August 15, 2023 General Election: November 7, 2023
