PUBLIC NOTICE #23-122 Sealed BIDS will be received for the construction of the LITTLE VALLEY PICKLEBALL EXPANSION, located at: 2330 Horseman Park Drive St. George, Utah. BIDS must be submitted in a sealed envelope prior to 2:30 P.M., May 4, 2023 to: The City of St. George, Purchasing Department Attn: Mary Wahl, Purchasing Manager 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, 84770. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside #23-122 and Little Valley Pickleball Expansion. The BIDS shall be opened in an electronic meeting. Notice for the BID opening shall be sent to everyone on the Plan Holders List prior to the BID opening. There will be a mandatory pre-BID meeting and site visit 2330 Horseman Park Drive on April 26 at 9:00 A.M., MST. Social distancing will be followed at the meeting. The bidder shall visit the project site and become familiar with the existing site conditions. Technical questions regarding the bidding documents shall be directed to Paul Stead, 435-627-4540, paul.stead@sgcity.org. The BID includes the following: removals, site grading, drainage, concrete flatwork, irrigation, pickleball courts, and other related work items. All BIDDERS who submit a BID are required to be on the Plan Holders List. Addenda will only be provided to the plan holders that are on the Plan Holders List. The 100% performance labor and materials bond will be required on this project. Every BID shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the BID, naming the City of St. George as obligee, this bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to the City of St. George. As required by St. George City Code 1-10B-14 a signed certificate of legal work status for the BIDDER must accompany the BID. City of St. George reserves the right to reject any, or all BIDS, or to waive any formality or technicality in any BID, in the interest of the city. Post: April 17, 2023 to May 4, 2023
