- NOTICE OF COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Cottonwood Heights City Council will hold a Work Session at approximately 4:00 p.m., or soon thereafter, on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in the Cottonwood Heights City Council Work Room located at 2277 East Bengal Boulevard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. The public may remotely hear the open portions of the meeting through live broadcast by connecting to http://mixlr.com/chmeetings . (Cottonwood Heights Code of Ordinances 2.30.160 (B)) City Manager Tim Tingey will admit into the record written public comments submitted to the City Recorder prior to 4:00 p.m. on the meeting date. 5.0 STAFF QUARTERLY REPORTS 5.1 Police Report - Police Chief Robby Russo (Review of the police department statistics for the last quarter). 6.0 ACTION ITEMS 6.1 Consideration of Resolution 2023-15 Adopting a Revised Use Policy and Fee Schedule for Non-City Use of Cottonwood Heights City Hall. (By this resolution the council will approve a revised use policy and fee schedule for non-city use of the city hall facility). 6.2 Consideration of Resolution 2023-16 Approving and Ratifying Additional Settlements in the National Opioid Litigation. (Additional settlements have been reached in the opioids litigation brought by many states and political subdivisions nationwide, including Utah and several counties in the state. The settlements are structured so that the more of each state's political subdivisions participate in the settlements, the more of the settlement funds will flow to that state. This resolution will approve and ratify the city's approval of the nationwide settlements with Teva, Allergan, CVS, Walgreens and Walmart and authorize and ratify the mayor's signature of the required settlement documents). 6.3 Consideration of Resolution 2023-17 Consenting to Reappointments to the Architectural Review Commission. (By this resolution the council will consent to the manager's reappointment of Scott Henriksen, Niels Valentiner and Sarah Kovac to the city's architectural review commission). 6.4 Consideration of Resolution 2023-18 Consenting to an Appointment to the Arts Council. (By this resolution the council will consent to the manager's appointment of Michelle Muirbrook to the city's arts council). 6.5 Consideration of Resolution 2023-19 Consenting to Appointments to the Parks, Trails and Open Space Committee. (By this resolution the council will consent to the manager's appointment of Chelsey Voss and Jennifer Cottam to the city's parks, trails and open space advisory committee). 7.0 CONSENT CALENDAR 7.1 Approval of the minutes of the City Council Legislative Work Session of March 2nd, 2023, and the City Council Work Session and Business Meeting of April 4, 2023. 8.0 ADJOURN CITY COUNCIL BUSINESS MEETING On Friday, April 14, 2023, a copy of the foregoing notices was posted in conspicuous view in the front foyer of the Cottonwood Heights city offices, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. A copy of this notice was faxed to the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, newspapers of general circulation in the city, by the office of the City Recorder. The agendas were also posted on the city's website at www.ch.utah.gov and the Utah Public Notice website at http://pmn.utah.gov.
