CITY OF OREM NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING The City Council will hold the following public hearings on April 25, 2023, at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the City of Orem Council Chambers, located at 56 North State Street, Orem, Utah, to consider the following: PUBLIC HEARING - Amending portions of Article 22-9 of the Orem City Code to create the Public Facilities (PF) zone and other provisions pertaining to the PF zone; amending Appendix A by enacting standard land use codes that are permitted, conditional and not permitted in the PF zone; and amending Section 22-5-3(A) and the zoning map of the City of Orem by rezoning various properties currently located in the C2, HS, M2, OS5, PD5, PD6, PD15, PD16, PD36, R6.5, R7.5, R8 and R12 zones to the Public Facilities (PF) zone. PUBLIC HEARING - Amending the Orem General Plan by amending Section 2.1 (Land Use Classifications), enacting Section 2.1.6. (Public Facilities), enacting Section 3.1.6. (Public Facilities), amending Section 8.3 (Educational Support), and amending the General Plan Map by changing the land use designation of various properties to Public Facilities. The proposed amendments are available in the Office of Development Services, Room # 105, 56 North State Street, Orem, Utah.
