Hurricane City Council has approved the following ordinance changes:
2022-61 Amending Sections Title 10 Chapter 14: Residential Agriculture Zoning, Title 10 Chapter 7 Section 9: Conditional Use Permit Standards, and Title 10 Chapter 12: Agriculture Zoning standards to allow reception centers as a conditional use in those zones.
2022-62 Amending Title 1, Chapter 4, Subsection 5: Title 3, Chapter 11; Title 10, Chapter 3, Subsections 4 and 10; Title 10, Chapter 15, Subsection 3; Title 10, Chapter 41; and Title 10, Chapter 51 regarding transient lodging facilities, short-term rentals, and accessory dwelling units.
2023-03 Amending Sections 8-1-3, 8-1-4, and 8-1-9 governing the rates and connection fees for utilities and fire hydrant meters.
2023-04 Adding 10-32 Water Conservation to the Hurricane City Code.
2023-05 Approving the petition to vacate and abandon a public right-of-way located on 300 North east of SR-9.
2023-ZC-03 Rezone of parcel H-231-B-1 from R1-8 to RM-1
2023-ZC-05 Rezone of parcels H-4-2-3-1202 and H-4-2-3-430 from Open Space (OP) to Public Facilities (PF)
2023-ZC-07 Rezone of parcel H-3396-D and the southern portion of H-3396-E from RA-0.5 PDO to M-1 Light Industrial.
