NOTICE OF ANNEXATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Ogden City Council received an annexation petition from Erika Sparrow and Orluff Opheikens to annex into the corporate limits of North Ogden City. The property is approximately 40.61 acres in area and is located at approximately 150 E. 2550 N. The City Council received certification from S. Annette Spendlove, North Ogden City Recorder, on August 23, 2011. Copies of the proposed annexation are available from S. Annette Spendlove, City Recorder, North Ogden City, 505 East 2600 N. North Ogden, Utah from 9 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
The legal description of the property petitioned for annexation is as follows:
A TRACT OF LAND SITUATED IN THE NORTHEAST QUARTER, SOUTHEAST QUARTER, SOUTHWEST QUARTER AND NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 32, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN, U.S. SURVEY, AND A PART OF LOTS 50, 51, 52 AND 53, PLAT B, NORTH OGDEN SURVEY, WEBER COUNTY, UTAH, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS.

THE BASIS OF BEARINGS FOR THIS PLAT IS THE SOUTH LINE OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 32, TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN WHICH BEARS NORTH 87°39'06" WEST UTAH NORTH NAD 83 STATE PLANE GRID BEARING.
The City Council will receive written protests to this annexation from the legislative or governing bodies of affected entities until September 27, 2011. Only written protests by legal protesters will be considered. A written protest to this annexation must be filed with the Weber County Board of County Commissioners, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401 and a copy of said protest must be provided to S. Annette Spendlove, City Recorder, North Ogden City, 505 East 2600 North, North Ogden, Utah 84414, by September 27, 2011. If no written protests are received, the City Council may grant this annexation request September 27, 2011, by adopting an ordinance. If written protests are received, the City Council will evaluate and determine if the protests are from legal protesters and the validity of the protest. Upon the completion of such an evaluation and determination, the City Council may or may not adopt an ordinance annexing this property on September 27, 2011.
