NOTICE OF A REGULAR COMMISSION MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WEBER COUNTY, UTAH PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers of the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the 30th day of August 2011. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome - Commissioner Zogmaister B. Pledge of Allegiance –Chris Allred C. Thought of the Day - Commissioner Zogmaister D. Consent Items 1. Request for approval of Purchase Orders in the amount of $220,147.08. 2. Request for approval of Warrants #277333- #277572 in the amount of $2,956,696.91. 3. Request for approval of minutes for the meeting held on August 23, 2011. 4. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Weber State University for employment of Weber State University students on off-campus projects. E. Action Items 1. Request for approval of an Interlocal Agreement by and between Weber County and North Ogden City to allow North Ogden City to process land use applications, site plan, subdivision, and building permits acting on behalf of Weber County including not having to pay any fees on land located at approximately 2550 North and 50 West. Request for approval of an amendment to the Weber County Zoning Chapter 34 Home Occupation-Short Term Vendors-Temporary Outdoor Sales-Farmer’s Markets and moving a provision regarding garage and yard sales from Chapter 34 to Chapter 23 Supplementary and Qualifying Regulations. Presenter: Rob Scott 3. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Heritage Ranch for a Regional Horse Show to be held at the Golden Spike Event Center on September 1-5, 2011. Presenter: Jim Harvey 4. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Heritage Ranch for sponsorship to produce a Regional Horse Show at the Golden Spike Event Center on September 1-5, 2011. Presenter: Jim Harvey 5. Request for approval to ratify a contract by and between Weber County and Smart Club for a Super Liquidation Sale held at the Golden Spike Event Center on August 19-21, 2011. Presenter: Jim Harvey 6. Request for consideration and/or action on a request for final approval of Country Gardens Subdivision Phase 1 including financial guarantees of $10,277.97 for subdivision improvements and $1,400.00 for survey monuments. Presenter: Sean Wilkinson 7. Request for approval of a resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Weber County providing notice of its intent to reappoint Adam Hall to the Weber Human Services governing board. Presenter: Dave Wilson 8. Request for approval of a first reading of amendments made to the Weber County Travel Expense Reimbursement Policy. Presenter: Dan Olsen 9. Request for approval of Interlocal Agreements by and between Weber County and the following for Animal Control Services: Harrisville City Washington Terrace City Farr West City Presenter: Reed Richards 10.
