- MEMORANDUM To: Fire Prevention Board Members From: Ted Black State Fire Marshal Date: April 11, 2023 Subject: Fire Prevention Board (Appeals Hearing) Meeting Virtual Meeting A Fire Prevention Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 8:30 A.M. at Utah State Fire Marshal's office, 410 W 9800 S. (P.O.S.T council room #377), Sandy, Utah 84070. Interested parties may attend this meeting in person or by following this link: meet.google.com/ebm-tcgm-tee The agenda for the Board Meeting will be as follows: 1. Board meeting called to order by Board Chair, Chief David Olsen Roll call of all Board members attending? Quorum? 2. An appeal hearing by Mr. Steve Schriber/FireStorm. Mr. Schiber is appealing the decision of the State Fire Marshal, Ted Black, to not renew his Display Operator and Special Effects Operator licenses. 3. Entered in a closed session if determined by the Board. (Section 52-4-205, discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual). 4. Board action. 5. Next Board Meeting May 09, 2023, beginning 8:30 A.M., at Utah State Fire Marshal's office, 410 W 9800 S, Suite #372 Sandy, Utah 84070. This meeting will be both in person and virtual. 6. Motion to adjourn
