Plain City Cemetery District Board Meeting March 9, 2023 - 7:00 p.m. Plain City Office Building Board Members Ross Taylor-Chairman Monette Panter-Co-Chairman Jeff East Joel Freestone Brent Weston Jon Bradford-Secretary/Treasurer Plain City Corp-Sexton Top Tier Yard Care-Caretaker Board Members excused: Welcome - Prayer/Moment of Silence 1. Review and approve minutes from the meeting held February 9, 2023. 2. Discuss the Sexton/Caretaker positions for April 1, 2023 through March 31, 2024. A. Review and discuss the new contract proposed from the Plain City Cemetery to Plain City Corp for approval for a continuous contract for the opening and closing of graves. This contract can be canceled with a 60 day request from either party. B. Review and discuss the contract with Top Tier Corp for cutting of the lawns. We need to touch base with this company to see if there will be any changes made. 3. Review and discuss the remodeling of the old building. Bids are due by March 31, 2023. Discuss grants from Weber County Ramp Grants. 4. Review and discuss the changes made to the Policy and Procedures on requiring the Plain City Cemetery receiving documentation on all types of burials including Urns in caskets. . Discuss and approve if necessary possible changes to Saturday gravesides. 5. Review, discuss and approve any maintenance issues on equipment or ground. A. Review, discuss, and approve the bids from Lawn World and True Green for fertilizing of the Plain City Cemetery. 6. Other Business or concerns from members of the Board or the public. 7. Adjourn.
