PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Vineyard City Planning Commission will hold a regularly scheduled meeting at City Hall, 125 South Main Street, Vineyard, Utah. You can also view the meeting on our live stream channel.
REGULAR SESSION
CALL TO ORDER
1. INVOCATION/INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHTS/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
2. OPEN SESSION - Time dedicated for public comment. Comments will be limited to three (3) minutes. No actions may be taken by the Planning Commission due to the need for proper public noticing.
3. MINUTES REVIEW AND APPROVAL
3.1 February 15, 2023
4. BUSINESS ITEMS
4.1 Minor Site Plan Amendment
Chris Kephart has submitted a minor site plan amendment application for Lot 05 of Eastlake at Geneva. The Planning Commission will take appropriate action.
4.2 PUBLIC HEARING - Zoning Text Amendment - Water Efficiency Standards
Emily Kofoed will present proposed amendments to the Vineyard Zoning Code, Section 15.40 Landscaping regarding water efficiency standards. The Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council.
4.3 PUBLIC HEARING - General Plan Amendment - Public Utilities and Services
This item was postponed from the February 15, 2023 Planning Commission meeting. The Planning Commission will make a motion to continue this item to March 15, 2023 with the condition that the public hearing notice is reposted.
5. WORK SESSION
5.1 Domestic Livestock and Fowl
Cache Hancey will lead a discussion on an ordinance which would allow for domestic fowls on a range of lot sizes. The Planning Commission will take no action.
5.2 Sign Code Text Amendment
Cache Hancey will lead a discussion on an ordinance which would remove the Sign Standard Waiver and create two additional sign types; Development Promotional/ Direction and Wall Art/ Building Mural. The Planning Commission will take no action.
6. TRAINING SESSION
6.1 Segments of Strong Town's Taco John be viewed and discussed by the Planning Commission.
7. COMMISSION MEMBERS' REPORTS AND EX PARTE DISCUSSION DISCLOSURE
8. ADJOURNMENT
