Amalga Town Board Minutes January 11, 2023 Attending: Mayor David Wood, Council Members: Paul Hansen, David Lee Hayley Reed, SHantrell Ritter Town Members: None 1-Pledge of Allegiance: Paul Hansen 2- Roll Call: Mayor Wood 3- Approve Minutes: Motion to accept Dave Lee, 2nd Mayor 4- Sheriff's Report: Sheriff's reports read, 3 citations, 3 incidents, 3 warnings. Got a letter from the Depty office, regarding the increase for the interlock agreement. 2022-2023 hours 105, $5496.00, 2023-2024 hours 115, $6,020.00, 2024-2025 hours 132 $6910.00. Sheriff attending council meeting in April 5- Cache waste consortium Review: Entered into agreement talking with waste management and Ace garbage control. 5-year contract 6- 2023 Projects Review: Bidding on road in front of town hall and the one in front of Kunz. Bids will be opened on February 3rd. Cog Bid for end of summer on the west side of town Install a pump in well #4, Back up to other one Schreiber will help with the cost Rapz tax 24th celebration M/C Curtis child maybe Christmas Party add Fireworks, Fliers need to go into November water Bill Fall celebration Easter Egg Hunt Council Reports: 1. Paul Hansen: Work on putting Sound system in Pavilion. Possibly even looking for more Heaters. Collette Dursteller has agreed to be the 24th Chairwoman Budget around $3,000, Coming to Council Meeting in February. Youth council Dinner with seniors in February. Easter Egg Hunt April 8th By Young Women. Schreiber's Easter Egg Hunt Noon-4. 2. David Lee: One person came in Alec Godfrey wanted to get a business license for Amalga. Brady Lindley Contacting Dave Lee about rezoning and sub dividing. Need List of those with Business Licenses for David Lee Email them it's time to renew business license. 3. Mayor Wood: Paul Campbell Impact Line, Dugged and completed, Sharp's Meter is always full of water. Dog Clinic for February. Election for Julio's Council Member seat. Cash disbursements for 12/01/2022-12/31/2022 Motion approved by all current council members. Motion to accept David Lee, 2nd Paul Hansen Motion to close the January meeting was made by Paul Hansen, 2nd David Lee
