TOOELE CITY CORPORATION ADVERTISEMENT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Separate sealed Bids for the completion of the TOOELE WRF HEADWORKS Project will be received by the owner at: RECORDERS OFFICE - ROOM 227 TOOELE CITY HALL 90 NORTH MAIN TOOELE, UTAH 84074 At prevailing local time until Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM MST, at which time bids will be opened and read publicly in Suite 224. Digital bids will not be accepted. The Tooele WRF Headworks (Hereafter referred to as 'Project') consists of construction of a new headworks building, including installation of mechanical screens, wash presses, and grit removal system, as well as odor control provisions, HVAC and plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, site work, yard piping, and all other equipment and infrastructure needed to make the new facilities complete and operational. Major equipment has been pre-procured by the Owner and will be assigned to the General Contractor for installation and startup. The Project shall be substantially completed by 18 months from Notice to Proceed. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be available Friday, February 10, 2023. Bid documents will be posted by Tooele City. Please contact Laura at laurab@tooelecity.org for an electronic copy of the bid documents. No printed copies will be provided. The costs to prepare Bids as described in the Bidding Documents are the sole responsibility of the Bidder. For questions contact Andrew Hobson, J-U-B Engineers: 385-290-9368, ahobson@jub.com. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 10:00AM -12:00PM MST at the Tooele WRF. Meeting details will be emailed to plan holders. Representatives, Owner, and Engineer will be present at the pre-bid conference to discuss the Project. The last day for questions shall be Monday, March 6, 2023. All questions will be answered via addendum. Only those who have their name on the plan holders list will receive addenda. A five percent (5%) bid bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality. Per C-200 Instructions for Bidders, Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to accept or reject the whole or any part of any bid; or to waive any information or technicality in any bid in the best interest of the City. Only bids giving a firm quotation properly signed will be accepted.
