- This Public Hearing is not hosted by nor supported by the Emery County Commissioners. In accordance with state statute 20A-7-204.1(2)(b)(iv) Emery County is required to post notice of this Pubic Hearing to the Public Notice Website and the Emery County Website. Emery County Commissioners strongly encourage all who are able to attend and voice your concerns about adding a carbon tax to natural gas, electricity and fuels. Clean the Air Carbon Tax Act Initiative - Public Hearings Feb 10, 2pm, JLSC Alumni Room, USU Eastern (451 E 400 N, Price) This initiative petition proposes the creation of a new carbon tax.
