- TOWN OF FAIRFIELD NOTICE OF 2023 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION Pursuant to Utah Code 10-3-301, The Town of Fairfield hereby gives notice the following municipal offices will be voted on in the 2023 Municipal General Election: Mayor 4-year term Council Member Seat A 4-year term Council Member Seat B 4-year term Council Member Seat D 2-year term Term up 2025- then back to 4-year 2029 A person seeking to become a municipal town office candidate shall file a declaration of candidacy in person with the Town Recorder. Any resident of Fairfield Town may nominate a municipal town office candidate by filing a nomination petition with the Town Recorder. The State requires at least 22 signatures on the nomination petition. All declarations of candidacy or nomination petitions shall be filed at the Town Office from June 1 through June 7, 2023 (excluding Saturday and Sunday), between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. NOTICE: The Town Office is only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. If filing outside of these times, please call for an appointment at (801) 766-3509. For candidacy forms, nominating petitions, or questions, contact Stephanie Shelley at the Fairfield Town office between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday, or call 801-766-3509 or email recorder@fairfieldtown.org.
