Cleveland Town Council Meeting January 12, 2022 at 7:00 pm 130 West Main, Cleveland, UT 84518 Call to Order: Opening Flag Ceremony Minutes: Public Comment: Limited to 10 minutes. This time has been set aside for any person to express ideas, concern, comments, questions or issues that are not on the agenda. Please state your name and place of residence. Please limit your comments to three minutes. State Law prohibits the council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. In this form of government, all town administrative personnel are under the direction of the mayor, not the council. Please discuss any concerns you may have regarding administrative staff with the mayor. Action Agenda: 1. Approve new council member from applicants. 2. Approve Roxanne Jensen request. 3. Approve use of Old Town Hall for Cassie Thatcher for USU-Extension class. 4. Appoint Tracy Randall as Planning and Zoning Chair. 5. Discuss/Approve increase in water/sewer charges through a resolution. 6. Discuss/Approve raise for Kallon Cowley. 7. Discuss/Approve new wording for compensating fire chief. 8. Approve purchase of new copier for office. 9. Approve Fire Dept coin expenditure for a fund raiser. 10. Training for Council on OPMA, GRAMA, Ethics, and Fraud will be Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023. There are two sessions to choose from, 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. or 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. in Castle Dale County Building in the Swell Room. Commit to one session. 11. Review bills for payment. 12. Council Reports 13. Adjourn Meeting. If there is any portion of the meeting that is closed to the public, the reason must clearly be stated and a roll call vote taken The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Feb. 9, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the Cleveland Town Office, 130 W. Main, Cleveland, unless otherwise noticed.
