The Briefing Meeting will be Held in the Conference Room of the Midway Community Center. 7:00 – City Council Meeting 1. Opening Remarks or Invocation; Pledge of Allegiance; Roll Call 2. General Consent Calendar Be it hereby moved that the following general consent calendar items stand approved: a. Agenda for the 10 August 2011 City Council Regular Meeting b. Warrants c. Minutes of the 13 July 2011 City Council Regular Meeting d. Adopt Ordinance 2011-08 Amending Title 4 (Revenue and Finance) of the Midway City Municipal Code to Change to the End of the Calendar Year the Deadline for Submission of an Annual Capital Facilities Plan e. Adopt Ordinance 2011-07 Amending Title 9 (Annexation) of the Midway City Municipal Code Regarding Consideration of an Annexation Petition by the City Council f. Appoint Poll Workers for the Primary and General Elections 3. CTM Subdivision/Amendment – A Request to Amend the CTM Subdivision Located at 695 East Main Street (Zoning is C-2). a. Presentation – Receive a Presentation on the Request b. Public Hearing – Receive Public Comment on the Request c. Action – Discuss and Possibly Approve the Request 4. Ordinance 2011-04/Fences – A Proposed Ordinance Amending Title 16 (Land Use) of the Midway City Municipal Code Regarding Fences. Recommended with Conditions by the Midway City Planning Commission. a. Presentation – Receive a Presentation on the Ordinance b. Public Hearing – Receive Public Comment on the Ordinance c. Action – Discuss and Possibly Adopt the Ordinance 5. Ordinance 2011-05/Board of Adjustment – A Proposed Ordinance Amending Title 2 (Municipal Government) of the Midway City Municipal Code Regarding the Board of Adjustment. Recommended with Conditions by the Midway City Planning Commission. a. Presentation – Receive a Presentation on the Ordinance b. Public Hearing – Receive Public Comment on the Ordinance c. Action – Discuss and Possibly Adopt the Ordinance 6. Ordinance 2011-06/Plat Amendments – A Proposed Ordinance Amending Title 16 (Land Use) of the Midway City Municipal Code Regarding the Recording of Plat Amendments. Recommended with Conditions by the Midway City Planning Commission. a. Presentation – Receive a Presentation on the Ordinance b. Public Hearing – Receive Public Comment on the Ordinance c. Action – Discuss and Possibly Adopt the Ordinance 7. The Big Red After School House – Reevaluation of the Conditional Use Permit for the Growing Light Montessori School Located at 45 North Center Street 8. Ice Rink/2011-2012 Season – Discuss and Possibly Decide Upon the Operation of the Midway City Ice Rink for the 2011-2012 Season 9. Midway Nightly Cottages/Water Requirements – Discuss and Possible Determine the Water Requirements, including Meter Size, Connection Fees and Impact Fees, for Midway Nightly Cottages and Other Commercial Uses Located at 93 West Main Street. 10.
