Item #1: Priano Annexation, does Zoning commission still recommend annexation to Town Council.
Zoning commission has looked at before, need public hearing first before recommended to council. Lowell Gardner made a motion to recommend the annexing of the property as long as no issues at public hearing. Seconded by Tyler. All were in favor. Tracy Randall will go to the Town Council Meeting and formally recommend the annexation of the Priano property.
Item #2: Town Council would like to discuss having an enforcer of zoning ordinances similar to Huntington.
Mayor Wilson and Brydi Sharp were not in attendance. Nancy Livingston explained what the council had in mind. That they would hire someone to write tickets and send to a judge. They would like someone from Zoning Commission to do it. Tracy Randall read in the planning and zoning ordinances for enforcement Chapter 2 Zoning Ordinance, Section 3.12. that it states the council is responsible for deciding if there is a violation so they would enforce it. It was noted that #13 requires the Chair to sign the letter for violations. This item needs to be clarified for better understanding of its intent.
Item #3: Adjourn Meeting
Tracy Randall adjourned the meeting @ 7:17 pm.
Nancy Livingston, Clerk
