NOTICE OF VACANCIES Washington County Water Conservancy District NOTICE is hereby given that there are three vacancies on the Washington County Water Conservancy District Board of Trustees (the 'Board') resulting from the expiration of the terms of Ed Bowler, Michele Randall, and Kress Staheli. Washington County may fill the vacancies by re-appointing members or appointing new board members for a four-year term. To qualify for appointment to this Board, an individual must meet the following qualifications: - Be a registered voter at the location of the individual's residence; and - Be a resident within the boundaries of Washington County Water Conservancy District. To apply to serve on the Board, qualified applicants may submit a completed application to the Washington County Commission Office, c/o Nicholle Felshaw, no later than Monday, January 16, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. to the following: attn: Nicholle Felshaw Email: nicholle.felshaw@washco.utah.gov Washington County Commission Office 197 East Tabernacle St. George, Utah 84770 While all board seats are 'at-large' and no municipality retains a permanent board seat, strong preference will be given to any applicant who is an elected official from St. George City, Washington City, Hurricane City, Santa Clara City, Toquerville City, or La Verkin City. Preference will also be given to an applicant who owns irrigation rights and uses those rights as part of that person's livelihood. The County Commission will make the appointment to fill these vacancies during its regular meeting held at 4:00 pm on January 17, 2023, 197 East Tabernacle, St. George, UT.
