- Public Notice is hereby given that pursuant to UCA 77-24a-5, the West Bountiful Police Department has items that have been taken into custody or otherwise remain unclaimed that are scheduled to be disposed of. Items scheduled for disposal include backpacks, bags, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, hoverboards, cell phones, credit cards/bank cards, currency, clothing, household items, keys, knives, sports equipment, tools, fish tanks, golf clubs, cell phones, and other miscellaneous items. If you have lost property, please contact the West Bountiful Police Department Evidence Technician at 801-292-4487 to identify or claim your property. You must show proof of ownership or provide a detailed property description. In addition, when claiming your property, you must present a government-issued photo identification. Property is released by appointment only Monday - Thursday, 9 am-5 pm. Disposition of property will be considered by the city council at a regular meeting on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 and if approved, property may be disposed of on or after December 23, 2022.
