State Street, Room 326 Wednesday, August 10th, 2011 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. Conducting: Ellen Reddick, Chair 8:00 – 8:10 a.m. Announcements and Business, Ellen Reddick • Action Item: If a quorum is present, BAB will vote on approval of meeting minutes from January, February, March, April, May, June & July meetings. 8:10 – 8:40 a.m. West Salt Lake Master Plan, Nick Britton, Planning Division • Review & Discussion Item: BAB will hear about the Planning Divisions effort to update the West Salt Lake Master Plan. If adopted, this version of the master plan will replace the plan adopted in 1995. 8:40 –8:55 a.m. 9th & 9th NBD Update, Scott Evans, Owner of Pago Restaurant • FYI Only: BAB will be briefed on the latest events and efforts in the Ninth and Ninth Neighborhood Business District. Scott Evans, owner of Pago, serves on the board of the 9th & 9th Merchants Association. 8:55 – 9:05 a.m. Voting Member Recruitment, Dan Velazquez, Economic Development Division • FYI Only: Dan Velazquez will give an update regarding the recruitment of new voting members. There are currently two vacancies to be filled, particularly from Districts 1 & 3. 9:05 – 9:20 a.m. Economic Development Update, Tim Loftis, EDCUtah • FYI Only: BAB members will be introduced to Tim Loftis from the Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCU). Tim joined EDCU at the beginning of 2011 as EDCU’s Economic Development Manager for SLC. 9:25 a.m. Adjournment Calendar: Next Meeting – Wednesday, September 14th, 2011
