- Notice of Intent to Prepare Amendments to the Richfield City General Plan and/or Land Use Ordinances NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Richfield City, Utah intends during the 2022-2023 calendar years to prepare amendments to the Richfield City Land Use Ordinances and maps, as well as potentially update the General Plan. The proposed amendments will include comprehensive elements relative to the existing plans and policy for growth and development within and around Richfield City. The plan will primarily consider land use, housing, transportation, subdivision, and capital investment issues within the political boundaries and proposed annexation areas of Richfield City. The public and each of the state-identified Affected Entities are invited to participate in several opportunities to provide information for the City to consider in the process of preparing, adopting, and implementing the proposed ordinance and plan amendments concerning (a) impacts that the use of land covered by the plan/code amendments may have on such Affected Entity: and (b) uses of land within the City that such Affected Entity is planning or considering that may conflict with the amendments. Interested parties are encouraged to subscribe to future notices through the State Public Notice website (http://www.utah.gov/pmn/index.html) for further information including detailed meeting agendas and other issues related to the planning process.
