PUBLIC NOTICE
#22-041
Sealed BIDS will be received for the construction of the Energy Services Building Upgrade, located
at: 811 Red Cliffs Parkway St. George, Utah. BIDS must be submitted in a sealed envelope prior to
2:00 pm, December 21, 2022 to:

175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, 84770.
Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside #22-041
Energy Services Building Upgrade.
The BIDS shall be opened in an electronic meeting. Notice for the BID opening shall
be sent to everyone on the Plan Holders List prior to the BID opening.
There will be a non-mandatory pre-BID meeting and site visit 811 Red Cliffs Parkway, St. George,
Utah on December 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm, MST. Social distancing will be followed at the meeting.
The bidder shall visit the project site and become familiar with the existing site conditions.
Technical questions regarding the bidding documents shall be directed to Kim Campbell.
The BID includes the following:
The City of St. George is inviting Mechanical Contractors to replace existing HVAC to the Energy
Services Administration Building.
All BIDDERS who submit a BID are required to be on the Plan Holders List. Addenda will only be
provided to the plan holders that are on the Plan Holders List.

The 100% performance - labor and materials bond will be required on this project. Every BID shall
be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the BID, naming the City of
St. George as obligee, this bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business
in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to the City of St. George.
As required by St. George City Code 1-10B-14 a signed certificate of legal work status for the
BIDDER must accompany the BID.
City of St. George reserves the right to reject any, or all BIDS, or to waive any formality or
technicality in any BID, in the interest of the city.
