The Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining meets Wednesday, December 7 at 9 a.m. at the Department of Natural Resources building at 1594 West North Temple in Salt Lake City. Next Month's Agenda and Division Calendar 5. Opportunity for Public Comment The Board will hear the following Matters at or around 10 a.m.: 1. Docket No. 2022-020 Cause No. 076-03 - In the matter of the Notice of Agency Action requesting the Board issue an Order requiring the Operator of record plug the Lavinia ST 1-32 Well. (This matter was continued from the September 28, 2022, Board Hearing.) 2. Docket No. 2022-021 Cause No. 131-157 - The matter of the Request for Agency Action of BERRY PETROLEUM COMPANY, LLC for an order declaring that the Board's Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law, and Order granting approval of unit operations and enhanced recovery and for certification as an enhanced recovery project in Cause No. 214-2, does not prohibit the drilling, completion, recompletion and deepening of wells below the Lower Green River Formation in the Antelope Creek Unit embracing portions of Townships 4 and 5 South, Ranges 3 and 4 West, USM, Duchesne County, Utah. (This matter was continued from the October 26, 2022, Board Hearing.) 3. Docket No. 2022-023 Cause No. S0230094 - In the matter of Notice of Agency Action the Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining requests an order forfeiting the surety bond surrounding the Eureka Rock Quarry and directing the Division to perform reclamation. (This matter was continued from the October 26, 2022, Board Hearing.) 4. Docket No. 2022-025 Cause No. 132-06 - In the matter of the Request for Agency Action of OVINTIV USA INC. for an order vacating the order entered in Cause No. 139-99 and instead pooling all interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting owners in the Nooh Tuh Vweep wells, in the drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formations comprised of all of Sections 16 and 21, Township 3 South, Range 2 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Board will consider the recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law generated by the hearing examiner from the proceeding on November 30, 2022.) 5. Docket No. 2022-026 Cause No. 130-14 - In the matter of the Request for Agency Action of OVINTIV USA INC. for an order: (1) partially or wholly vacating the Board's Orders entered in Cause Nos. 266-01 and 266-02; and (2) instead extending the Board's Order in Cause No. 139-150 and partially extending the Board's Order in Cause No. 600-03 to establish special stand-up (vertical) drilling units for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formations comprised of Sections 17, 20 and 29, and Sections 18, 19 and 30, respectively, in Township 4 South, Range 2 West, U.S.M., and Sections 13, 24, 25 and 36 in Township 4 South, Range 3 West, U.S.M., all in Duchesne County, Utah. 6. Docket No. 2022-028 Cause No. RMNRL-2022-01 - In the Matter of Formal Rulemaking to Amend the Mineral Program Rules to Conform Annual Reporting Deadlines to the Utah Mined Land Reclamation Act. 7. Docket No. 2022-029 Cause No. RMNRL-2022-02 - In the Matter of Formal Rulemaking to Establish the Minerals Exploration Tax Credit Program.
