All public comments and questions can be submitted to Tara Silver: t silver@spanishfork.org cc: kcoughlan@spanishfork.org due December 8, 2022 by 5:00 p.m. Location: Spanish Fork City Council Chambers 40 South Main Street Spanish Fork, Utah Proposal: Spanish Fork City is closing an existing crossing located on 980 North (Expressway Lane) and opening a new crossing to the north approximately 2,000 feet. The new crossing location will connect the west and east side of Spanish Fork Parkway, providing a new major arterial roadway for east and west bound traf c across the UPRR mainline track. This new crossing will reduce traf c through neighborhoods and provide for a safer crossing which will include railroad crossing lights and gates. As part of this project, the crossing at 2400 East (3400 East / 1600 West) connecting to US-89 will be closed. Closing this crossing will be a bene t to the city due to the geometric challenges which are a safety concern to the city and for citizens trying to cross the tracks.
