PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Magna Metro Township Council will hold a regular meeting on the 22nd day of November 2022 at the Webster Center, 8952 West Magna Main Street Magna, Utah as follows:
This meeting will be held at the anchor location and electronically for members of the staff and/or public that cannot attend. Those interested in attending electronically should follow the information noted at the end of this agenda.** Portions of the meetings may be closed for reasons allowed by statute. Motions relating to any of the items listed below, including final action, may be taken.

9.1 REZ2022-000662 - Michael Wagstaff is requesting approval to rezone .43 acres of property from the R-2-6.5 and C-3 zone to DH Mixed-Use, consisting of four parcels on Magna Main Street, Location: 2679 South 9130 West [Justin Smith, Planner]
ACTION: Consider Ordinance No. 2022-O-11 An Ordinance, Amending Title 19, Entitled 'Zoning' of the Magna Metro Township Code of Ordinances, 2001, by Reclassifying Certain Property located in Magna Metro Township from the R-2-6.5 (Medium Density Residential) and C-3 (Commercial) to Dh Mixed-Use
Planning Commission Recommendation: On October 13, 2022 the Magna Metro Township Planning Commission Recommended that the Magna Metro Township Council approve the zone change from C-3 (Commercial) to DH Mixed-Use.
9.2 Follow-up form prior meeting, Request for Approval to Allocate $100,000 of Magna's ARPA Funds for the 2700 South and 8000 West Intersection Realignment Project [Steven Kuhlmeier, Engineering]
This funding will be used to initiate the project and contract a consultant to develop conceptual design plans, perform an environmental study, and provide public involvement support. An environmental study is required before a Federal Aid Agreement can be entered into for WFRC grant funds.
9.3 Request from Unified Police Department regarding funding the Conversion of a Police Officer Position to a Sergeant/Supervisor Position in the Magna Precinct [Chief Del Craig, UPD]
9.4 Discussion and Possible Motion to Consider Resolution No. 22-11-01 A Resolution of the Magna Metro Township Council Tentatively Approving the 2023 Magna Budget, and Setting the Public Hearing for Public Comment and Possible Final Adoption on December 13, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. [Dave Sanderson, Financial Manager]
